    Description

Mid Century Modern Sasha Brastoff "Star Steed" Table Lighter Set
    Pluse Extra Match Holder
    Estate Find!!
This listing is for a vintage Mid Century Modern
Signed ceramic set by designer Sasha Brastoff or Sasha B as he is called.
Sascha Brastoff was one of the more famous and successful designers from California who produced a myriad of different types of ceramics, enamels, sculpture, jewelry fine arts and other home decor in the 1950s-1970s.
All pieces are  signed Sasha B in gold on all 3 pieces and have the Rooster trademark on the bottom of the pieces.
The lighter and one matching match holder feature the famous Star Steed design which was introduced in the late 1950's. The Star Steed design is one of his most famous designs and features a stylized Stallion with a gold outline and turquoise highlights.
    The second match holder
features a colorful and stunning hand painted peacock desig
there are gold accents including curved feathers and small indented circles that are painted gold providing a gorgeous contrast and reflection. They resemble rhinestones
Peacock colors include purple, white, avocado green, black, gray, and turquoise.
The Match holders are 3" tall.
The  Lighter is 4.5" tall with a brass lighter that is removable.
Condition is very good for pieces that were produced over 60 years ago- the match holders look unused as does the lighter however the lighter does have a couple of spots in the metal part as well as on the inside once you remove the lighter- just mentioning to be accurate- I do not think that the lighter has ever had fluid in it.
All three oieces would make the perfect addition to any Mid Century Modern Collection.
